- 10:00 am CDT – “Rallying the Troops”
Planning for your first alumni band performance after the pandemic and the “what if’s” that could occur. Speakers from 4 alumni bands share their suggestions for this fall.

Putting together a successful fundraising campaign and other hints.

- 3:00 pm CDT – “Leadership Succession – Music Never Grows Old”
You don’t have to either. Join us for a panel discussion on recruiting newer generations to sustain your Alumni Band. How your Alumni Band can march into the future with the younger generation leading the way. Session best suited for new and existing Alumni Band organizations.

Panel discussion with several collegiate band directors about their wish list from alumni bands: what they appreciate and what they’d like to change. Communication is a two-way street, so join us to hear what this panel of collegiate band directors want…and importantly, don’t want…from alumni bands!

The centerpiece of this session is how can we help our generation and the next generation (including students) move to become better people to one another. The process is a transformational journey that starts with awareness, becoming openly inclusive, and then fully embracing diversity.
